The SLGB006 “Ice Forest at Dawn” captures the serene beauty of Shinshu’s winter forests as the first light of day strikes the frost-laden trees. Its black dial features gold-colored specks, evoking sun pillars formed by ice particles in the freezing morning air, creating a luminous, textured effect that recalls the natural phenomena of central Japan.

Powered by the Spring Drive Caliber 9RB2, Grand Seiko’s most accurate mainspring movement to date, the watch achieves ±20 seconds per year. Precision is ensured through a vacuum-sealed oscillator, a three-month aging process, and a thermo-compensated IC, while the regulation switch allows fine-tuning during service. The movement, visible through the exhibition case back, is adorned with a frost-inspired texture and an oscillating weight engraved with “Spring Drive Ultra Fine Accuracy.”
